New Work: Do you Remember?

Do You Remember?
Image size 15" x 18"
collage
I should have titled this one, Against My Better Judgement!

The piece was finished yesterday and I have mixed feelings about it. Since I believe in full disclosure, I am going to show it anyway.

It's back to the drawing board today for yet another re assessment, re tooling, re grounding, revising and revamping. Or maybe just a nap:)

Thanks for reading and commenting!

  1. Clever patterns, Libby. One of my favorites is the circles with the semi-circles juxtaposed inside. The colors remind me of spring/summer and having a good time, and I enjoy it for the way it makes me feel.

  2. Carol,

Thanks Carol. Glad that the colors appealed to you. Those circles with the semi circles were me thinking about rose colored glasses. Although, in my case, I chose bifocals!

I am going to take a cropped section of the piece and see what I can do with it. This was Julie's suggestion and I think it is a good one. The colors are pretty but I want to see if I can expand my ideas. So, I am hoping for good things:)

Thank you for the visit and comments. Always nice to hear from you.

  4. Ah Libby this just speaks summer to me. Am thinking picnics...pink lemonade...basket of mixed fruit...delightful and so carefree. I just love it. Hope you are having a lovely summer day. Hugs!

    1. Debbie,

Thank you so much for your kind comments! Summer is sort of reminiscent of pinks and picnics and softer colors isn't it? a good way of seeing things I think:)

Hope that your week is going well. Thank you for your visit.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it! I reply back in an email if you are signed in and I can see your address. Otherwise I will post the reply here under your comment. I tend to cut and paste my emails too so that others can experience the back and forth which I think is integral to blogging.
