I am hoping for a turnaround too and really, it can't come any sooner. I pray for it daily!
LibbyLibby Fifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13532162740012986996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2899715599676824140.post-30673192079517685692018-09-13T15:30:16.413-07:002018-09-13T15:30:16.413-07:00Carol,

I just love that you did that.

The peeking bear was one of the very last things that I added. It made me laugh quite hard and sealed the deal of linking it in my mind with the UCLA Bruins. But, I like your bear reference too in that we have the same issue here in CA. Not sure if you see it this way but I feel that we have encroached on the bears' home rather than the other way round. They have a Hell of a time in Yosemite with bears who open cars like sardine cans, looking for food. In CA you almost always have to backpack with a bear canister if you are in the Sierras and I hear all the time about bears in neighborhoods looking for action. They are certainly smart animals. I would suggest putting them in charge but I am sure with the current administration they would be fired immediately...:

Thank you as always for your visits and insight. I appreciate it!
LibbyLibby Fifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13532162740012986996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2899715599676824140.post-81316446788563608442018-09-12T19:42:36.026-07:002018-09-12T19:42:36.026-07:00That big blue square with the X? it's my hope...That big blue square with the X? it's my hope that voters will turn TX Blue at the mid-term elections. For that, I will cheer & cheer until we boot the current administration out of office and regain our world standing. That, to me, is preferable to the current day meaning, one that I'd like to not have to think about. In my opinion, your composition succeeds, no matter what emphasis or interpretation you put on the individual shapes and colors, but in particular, I think it is especially successful because of the peeking bear! I don't associate it with the California college, but the bears that are encroaching on our homes here in the Blue Ridge. Poor things...they've been spotted sitting in chairs, swinging in hammocks and resting after rustling through numerous bird feeders and garbage cans. What are those bears thinking? I'm not sure, but they might be able to take over our world because we humans seem pretty stupid. If I were you, I'd ask that bear for her opinion.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03386488617374144819noreply@blogger.com
