Constructions #13 Framed example

I spent parts of Thursday and Friday on the above collage. I don't have too much of an agenda with these other than to find out what the materials can do and to explore design ideas. Working with rectangles is where I am right now. Manipulating their size, placement, and orientation is the focus of these pieces. Sort of secondary to that is line and value exploration, for lack of a better way to describe that. So, the good news is that you can rearrange everything endlessly. Deciding on one shape and then changing  that up is a very fluid way to work.

OK, hope everyone had a creative week. I re did that barn painting from yesterday and hope to have the new pics shortly.
